Ahhh, Alex's 30th - above - what a great weekend, the RSC was breathtaking and a really fantastic experience for all Shakespeare fans! We've also started watching 'Hollow Crown' - a BBC adaptation of the three kings trilogy by Shakespeare, cultured or what! Its really good though, and stars 'The New Q' from James Bond and 'Loki' as well (yay - geek!)
So, what other news after my brief hiatus from the blog...?
Well, I've quit my day job, and although I am looking for another one it's a step in a positive direction. I'll be happier now and a happier Verity makes for better gigs...
So, what OF gigs, I hear you cry? Well, last night was a great time at The Station, Gloucester - we were celebrating Steve (the owner's) birthday so the crowd were rowdy and fun, and receptive as always! Tonight, I jet off to the glamorous town of Stonehouse, where Terry at The Globe will be hosting a great night there, they were brilliant last time I played so I can't wait!
Also recently I had the pleasure of singing with FireFly at the ELY Memorial Ball, which was a real honour. I was asked to sing a special dedication, You've Got The Love, which was wonderful and I had some really kind feedback from them all on it as well.
Coming up over the next few weeks we have a festival, a large corporate function and more wonderful local venues... check out my gigs page!
Love and hugs and sunshine and fun
