A rainy afternoon in Cheltenham and after purchasing a large bag of oranges from the market (which proceeded to split and fall over the floor, rolling in directions akimbo, and making me chase oranges all over the pavement to then pile them into my handbag like a very odd scene from a Rom com... Without the man helping eye-catching, gay bit... So yeah just the weird bit) ... A trip to the cinema was in order.
The film of choice was Man Of Steel, an energetic and latex filled romp into the past of one of DC's worstly portrayed superheroes ever. The film itself was quite fun, some good bits of action and quite a compelling story, It suffered a little from the curse of the ridiculous and drawn out fight scene, but don't they all. Best bit was having the cinema to ourselves - not just any cinema either but the posh cinema. it was almost worth the £12.50 we paid each for the tickets.
And now I sit listening to rain piddling down outside and being cuddled by my princess Maoam (as per photo below) (she probably just wants feeding) and to be honest I feel pretty content. That's a nice feeling. I'll hold onto it for a while.
A post for Joe who it was nice to see today.
