You know, I love gigging... which is useful being a musician; but really there's nothing like it. It's so enjoyable, I get to jump about and be ME, it's a release and a refreshment from all those days spent pretending to be someone else.
Last night we had an amazing time at The Station Hotel, in Gloucester - an up and coming music venue with loads to offer. They're really trying to open up the GLoucester music scene again and it's excellent to see. They'll be opening a Jazz bar there next spring and have an excellent in-house PA system, which was a pleasure to use. Steve the owner was fab too - sorry I can't play at your birthday party! Hope to be there again soon.
So it's Sunday, and Alex and I are scoring out the music for a wedding gig we have for some friends in August, it' actually really fun, and the band are already sounding great. Definitely going to get a full band line up together very soon - watch this space for the launch of DOMINO!
