FANTASTIC outing yesterday, all the way over to Chelmsford to the Enchanted Festival (from Cheltenham - thats a long drive...) - the cast of Alchemy had an outing in concert style, to a darkly-beamed room full of eclectic music lovers, dimmed lights and a well stocked bar! It was a great experience, and to meet and chat to Dan Reed was great, he was truly lovely and very complimentary too which always endears me to someone!
It was so great to see all my friends from Alchemy, they're such a fantastic and fun group of people. I cannot wait to have them all up to Cheltenham for our next fundraiser (for the London run) on November 8th - let me know if you'd like a ticket! I shall be doing a few numbers, and you'll also get to see our stunning soprano Vicky do a few songs, she's a real star. Alex has agreed to do a track too, and my Mum is going to do something special (NOTE - she will keep her clothes on.) Most of the cast and chorus will be there in some form or another too, there are really too many fantastic people to mention...
Anyway, after a cheeky KFC on the way home (life on the road = glamour) I got home and collapsed into bed. So now I have a day off, a REAL day off, and I'm not going to fill it with things, I'm going to chill. It's quite a novel concept for me, and currently I'm enjoying it... though I may go stir crazy by 7pm. I actually have next weekend off as well, and we're going to see the amazing Carmen do a gig for Naturewatch, it's at the Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham on Friday 18th, 8pm, if anyone fancies joining me?
